Mother Bernadine Horne Memorial Service

10/21/2026

As we prepare to celebrate the life and homegoing of Ms. Bernadine Horne, the beloved mother of our Pastor, Dr. James A. Long Jr., we invite our church family and community to join us in honoring her life and surrounding her family with love and prayer.

Our presence is a beautiful way to show our love, not only for the Long family, but also for one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.

The service will be held:
Friday October 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church
5717 Foothill Blvd, Oakland, CA 94605

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Reverend Dr. Joe L. Smith for graciously opening his sanctuary.

Let us keep this day and the Horne and Long families lifted in prayer. May we come together in faith, love, and unity as we stand with the family during this time.
