Jesus Is the Reason for the Season ✝️🎄

“The Son of God became the Son of Man, that the sons of men might become the sons of God.”

Christmas is not merely a tradition or a moment in history it is the divine miracle of God stepping into humanity. In humility, Christ was born in a manger so that through Him, we might receive redemption, adoption, and new life.

This season reminds us that true hope entered the world not through power or position, but through obedience, sacrifice, and love. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, to reconcile sinners to God, and to bring light into darkness.

As we celebrate, may our focus remain on Christ the greatest gift ever given.

Jesus is the reason for the season.

Christmas is the celebration of God’s redemptive work through Jesus Christ. ✨

Scripture tells us that “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14), reminding us that Christmas is about God entering human history to save sinners. The birth of Christ fulfills God’s promise of a Savior “she will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). 🎄✝️

At Christmas we remember that Jesus came to bring true hope and peace “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11). The manger points us forward to the cross and the empty tomb, where our salvation was accomplished. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son” (John 3:16).

We warmly invite you to worship with us this Christmas season at Higher Ground Church. ⛪️ If you are seeking a Christ centered, Bible teaching church, we would be honored to welcome you.
