What a wonderful Women’s Brunch we shared today in our Fellowship Hall! It was truly a blessing to gather together, encourage one another, and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood in Christ.

There is something beautiful about godly fellowship. As Scripture reminds us, “Let us not give up meeting together… but encourage one another” (Hebrews 10:25). We are grateful for every woman who joined us and helped make this gathering so special. Let us continue to walk together in faith and keep good company that honors God.

A special thank you to Jewel Diamond Taylor for once again blessing our Women’s Ministry with an inspiring and powerful message. It was a joy to welcome you back, just as we did last year, and we are grateful for the wisdom and encouragement you shared.

May God richly bless your coming and your going. We look forward to gathering again soon!

Knowing God’s voice — what a privilege it is to be KNOWN by God, and to know that He hears our prayers. 🙏

When we pray, that is us talking to God.
When we open our Bible, that is God talking to us.

Many people say they want more peace, more favor, and more purpose… but the real question is: do you truly want more of God, or just more of what God can give you?

Take a moment to think about that.

Waiting on God can be difficult and challenging at times. Many of us are searching for answers, while God has already spoken and instructed us through His Word.

John 10:27 says, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

Notice He didn’t say:
“My sheep only hear My voice when life gets easy.”
Or,
“My sheep only hear My voice in church.”

Don’t let the noise, distractions, and busyness of life drown out the voice of God. Be still. Be at peace. Make room for His presence so you can clearly hear from Him, because He is where our help comes from.

Too many distractions competing for God’s attention in our hearts will pull us away from hearing His voice. Spend time with the Lord. Open your Bible. Seek Him wholeheartedly. ✨

Celebrating the life and legacy of Deacon Raymond McQueen Jr. — a beloved husband, father, mentor, faithful servant, and true soldier of the cross. ✝️

For decades, Deacon McQueen served with wisdom, humility, strength, and unwavering faith. His presence, prayers, and dedication to God’s people left a lasting impact on our church family and community.

We invite you to join us as we honor and celebrate a life beautifully lived and a servant faithfully called home.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23 ❤️

God is not through with you yet. 🙏🏽✨

No matter the disappointment, delays, or discouragement you may be facing, God has not forgotten about you. Your story is not finished, and your season is not over. As we are reminded from Jeremiah 29:11, God still has plans for your life — plans filled with hope, purpose, and a future.

Sometimes closed doors are not rejection, but God’s protection. Sometimes pressure is preparation for greater purpose. Stay encouraged and keep trusting Him through every season.

Join us tonight for Meditation, Bible Study & Conference Call at 6:30 PM as we continue this powerful teaching:

“God Is Not Through With You Yet.”

Today at the Chapel, Peace and Freedom Party candidate Ramsey Robinson, who is running for California governor, will be hosting a forum to share his message and answer questions voters may have about him, the election, and other options that will appear on the ballot.

As we approach another election season, we encourage everyone to stay informed and be educated voters. Please note that the Chapel is not endorsing any candidate or political party — our space is simply being used as a place for community dialogue and conversation.

Peace is what Jesus gave us. Jesus said, ‘Peace, be still’ in the middle of the storm, and even the wind and waves obeyed Him. Mark 4:39 reminds us that the same God who calmed the sea is able to calm every storm in our lives. Jesus also said, ‘Peace I leave with you; My peace I give unto you.’ John 14:27

David tells us we should be like a tree planted by the rivers of water—rooted, steady, and flourishing in God. Psalms 1:3

In moments of frustration, uncertainty, or fear, what are you leaning on? More importantly…WHO are you leaning on? Our peace, strength, and security must come from God alone. ‘God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.’ Psalms 46:1

Be encouraged today—God is still in control through every storm. 🤍

Another Chapel Gram continuing with our theme this week: “Recognizing Deception.”

God tests us, but Satan tempts us. A test is meant to develop you, strengthen your faith, and draw you closer to God. A temptation is meant to distract you, deceive you, and ultimately destroy you.

In every season, we must have discernment and stand firm on the Word of God. ✨
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4

May we seek truth, walk in wisdom, and recognize the difference between what is sent to grow us and what is sent to pull us away from God. 🙏

05/05/2026

Recognizing deception is such an important part of our day-to-day lives. Being able to discern not only situations, but also people, can truly be life-changing.

In a world full of distractions, mixed messages, and hidden motives, we have to stay rooted in truth. Discernment is a gift from God—it protects us, guides our decisions, and keeps us aligned with His will.

Join us tomorrow for Bible class as we dive deeper into this topic and learn how to strengthen our spiritual awareness and walk in wisdom daily. 🤍
