GOD IS IN THE DETOUR! 🙌🏾

Sometimes the path God chooses for us doesn’t look like the quickest, easiest, or most comfortable way. We begin to worry, question the process, and wonder why God hasn’t brought us to where we thought we would be by now. But what if the detour isn’t a delay? What if God is using it for our protection, preparation, and purpose?

📖 Exodus 13:17–18 reminds us that when God led the children of Israel out of Egypt, He did not take them by the shortest route. God knew what was ahead of them, so He led them another way.

God was in the detour.

The same is true in our lives. God sees what we cannot see. He knows what is ahead, He knows what we are ready for, and He knows exactly which road will lead us into His purpose.

So why are you worrying? Why are you fighting the route God has chosen? Why are you refusing to enter into God’s rest?

You may not understand the direction, but you can trust the One who is directing you. 🙏🏾 Sometimes the longer road is the road covered by God’s protection.

Stop worrying. Rest in God. Trust His direction. God is in the detour!
