This Saturday EIKON is partnering with Glad Tidings International COGIC for a day of connecting with, serving and encouraging shut-in seniors! At Opal Care, the average senior receives *zero* in-person visits a year. That's why when Mr. Steve moved in there last year because of his health, I just started visiting everyone. Then I met someone with a similar heart!!

Missions Director at Glad Tidings COGIC Lanae Brooks and I have been praying over this for months - and our team is growing, but there is still time to get involved. Yes, we are going to Opal Care, to love on Mr. Steve's friends so they know they are not forgotten. We will be visiting a second senior living facility in District 3/Oakland, as well. And we will be doing house visits as well.

And, NO, you don't have to bring anything. We have epic and honoring gift baskets prepared, drenched in love, which we will assembly Saturday morning! And then we are heading out to meet the amazing people in our community - to listen to, pray for and encourage precious souls who are ready for connection.

Let's go!!! This will be the day that carries you for a long time - and you could not find anything better to do this Saturday, August 19th!!
