The Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus' Church versus mention of Eternal Life with Jesus. And many other similar Biblical mentions regarding the topic.
(Please excuse some informal language and loose references to exact Biblical quotations).
The Kingdom of Heaven is not explicitly described as existing in 'the afterlife,' but ALSO, as Jesus told Pilate, 'Was and is not, nor ever shall be, of this world/that world!
The Kingdom of Heaven was within them, still today for us and ongoing, eternally!
(Isaiah 9: 6, 7. Genesis 9:12. Ecclesiastes 1:4. Ephesians 3:21. ~Luke 1:33 ... Galatians 6:14-16).
We are the Temple of the Living God, if having been baptized with the Holy Ghost, being made a 'New Creature' and putting on Christ.'
The Kingdom of Heaven did not and will not be with observation.
The Kingdom of Heaven wasn't and isn't meat and drink, but Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost. (ONGOING) We cannot even see it without the Holy Ghost!
There was questioning about the identity of Jesus the Christ and Son of God when Jesus asked Peter, ~"Simon Peter, son of Bar Jonah, who do you say I am?"
Peter identified Jesus as the Son of God, and Jesus told Peter :::
~~'My Father has revealed it unto you, and upon this Rock will I build my Church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it, and Unto You (Peter) will I give the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven (the Church of the New Covenant, New (New in the First Century)/Heavenly Jerusalem which WAS the Mother of them all... Us today and ongoing)...A N D...
WHATSOEVER YOU (PETER) bind in Heaven shall be bound on earth A N D...
WHATSOEVER YOU (PETER) loose in Heaven shall be loosed on earth...

The Old Man dies in Repentance
We're crucified with Christ.
We're buried with Christ in baptism,
Being baptized into his death.
(Romans 6:3,4).
Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
We're resurrected/made New, a New -Born baby in Christ with the Holy Ghost!
(The Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven).
As of the First century, per the Book Revelation, the Tabernacle of God is with men, He dwells with us, and we are his people and he is our God. (In the Kingdom, which dwelleth within us and them of the First Century since the inception of the Church of Jesus Christ/the Kingdom of Heaven/Kingdom of God not mage with hands, which began in the First Century).
I've heard the inception of the Old Covenant has something to do with Pentecost and the giving of the Ten Commandments, parallel with the Church incepting at Pentecost.

(I know very little, and haven't studied that one yet, including the Feast Days, High Holy days and other Old Covenant 'observances'. (As a disclaimer---))
Jesus said, If a man Love me, he will keep my words and my Father will Love him, AND, WE will make abode with him.
Also, 1 Cor 6:16,17.
1Co 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
1Co 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Again, in the New Covenant, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and God Dwells with us!
Those of us with the Holy Ghost are the Temple of the Living God!
Jesus said, The Father was within him and he in the Father, and they within the early disciples.
BIG POINT HERE. The Kingdom of heaven is for this time, alive on planet Earth, with, 'mortal Bodies' Just like Jesus' before his death burial and resurrection. As per Isaiah 9:7, Jesus' Kingdom will grow eternally, people will always procreate and have little children who can choose Christianity or not.
(Please correct me of I'm wrong)!
One main reason, it seems to me, we observe the, Ripple effect of the plagues of Revelation in history since the First Century (and I don't know much about it); is because, as per Revelation itself, when things are added/taken away from the Prophecy of the book, the plagues are added, yet again. Please share deeper insight, as I'm open to it. I'm big on disclaimers, because again, I know very little.
When we receive the Gift of the Father who revealed the identity of Jesus unto Peter, as Jesus being the Son of God, the Holy Ghost (this Gift of the Father they waited for in Acts 1,2), we are made New and He that is joined unto the Lord is One Spirit! (Again, 1 Cor 6:17), and the Kingdom of Heaven, Jesus' Church is within us!
Therefore, we become a member of the Body and Wife of Christ, eternally growing as Isaac's seed, not of Hagar, per the allegory of the two Covenants!
The letter killed (literally, by stoning to death)!
The Spirit gives Life!
Jesus brought Life More Abundantly!
The Kingdom of Heaven WAS AT HAND!
(BTW, Hagar means 'flight,' or 'forsaken'!,
Hagar was the slave/bondwoman servant of Sarah, Abraham's Wife,
AND, Rebecca means, "servant of God"
(Isaac's(Abraham's Son's)Wife!
AND, Isaac was spared as a sacrifice, through a scapegoat!!!
The allegory, Hagar, in bo***ge in the First Century, (under the Task/Schoolmaster).
Isaac's seed, ---Christians and Servants of God---!
THE LAW came by Moses, Grace and Truth by Jesus Christ, the Law being the schoolmaster leading to Christ, after which, no more need of the schoolmaster.
Against the Fruit of the Holy Ghost... There is NO LAW!
The WORKS OF THE FLESH...

THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT:........
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
ALSO, THE SPIRIT bloweth where it listeth,....so is everyone Born of the Spirit...(I do not understand the context of the passage 100% clearly, with my current knowledge, I will admit).

Jhn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Jhn 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Jhn 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Jhn 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
The Jews were being FREED from the Law/letter that killed, the Letter!, the law of sin and death...
Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ!
The sting of sin was death, the strength of sin was the law.
Why in the garden did they cover their nudity with fig leaves and why did Jesus curse the fig tree?

BACK AND FORTH
Think of the High Priest going year after year into the Physical Most Holy Place of the Temple which stones were thrown down in the First Century...
Daniel 9 beginning @ 457BC, the proclamation going forth to rebuild the Temple, unto Messiah the Prince...
457 + 490 (70 weeks, A Day for a year) ===== 33AD!
..Jesus says, "It is finished," the Most Holy Place is opened up ((everything that openeth up the Matrix) ((symbolically, a Cube, like Heavenly Jerusalem, eternally growing (after coming down from Heaven in Revelation) Church since there was added 3000 souls at it's inception at Pentecost in those last days of the OLD COVENANT as described in Joel 2:28.
Again 457 + 490 = 33AD
It WAS finished, the Matrix was opened up in that generation of the Wedding supper of the Lamb. Jesus was killed, buried and raised... did 40 Days of 'innumerable' miracles and 'ascended' in Acts 1, advising the disciples to wait for the Promise of the Father, keys in the hand of Peter who the Father revealed the identity of Jesus to. (Please excuse poor grammar and punctuation).

Acts 22:16.
Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
(((((I believe in extenuating circumstances, exceptions to the rule and other folds of Christ which lead to the Father's House, and ponder/meditate on this at times while my limited knowledge grows.)))))
One of my favorite pasages in the Holy Bible is a Isaiah 66:1.
Isa 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
Deu 32:1 Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
Isaiah 1:2 (KJV) Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
Is there a large chair in the sky?
Do we see footstools all around?
Can the clouds listen and the ground produce literal ears like those of a man and grow them on 'eartree' branches?
Please excuse the humorous/sarcastic hyperbole, but Heaven(s) (as plural, sometimes as in Genesis 1:1) and Earth, also per Isaiah 66:1....
These two together are often an idiom, a figure of speech!
Heaven = Throne
Earth = Footstool
I call it,
The Ruling/Ruled according to the setting and situation on any given point on the timeline.
Old Covenant Heaven and Earth regarded the Law of Moses and Circumcision of the flesh. (The Israelites and the Heathen, pretty sure...The Heavenly and the Earthy). This Covenant was ready to vanish away.
(Hebrews 8:13.)
Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
The Israelites brake the Covenant...
All throughout the Old covenant!
AND,
They were going to fill up their measure double!
Crucify him Crucify him, they had no king but Caesar.
His blood was upon them and their children.
The blood of the Prophets.
The idolatry.
The wh***ng about with other Gods.
~~~Profaning Holy things, etc...
Those were the days of that vengeance, of Jesus' coming a second time, and WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD, IF HOLY, PILLARS IN HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, not as the dogs/sorcerers/adulterers/idolators/those who Love and Make lies/etc... Outside of the City of New Jerusalem, The Church of Jesus Christ which is the KINGDOM of Heaven, leading into Eternal Life with Christ Jesus our Lord and Son of God who came in the flesh, also not a myth!
Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Jesus was the FIRSTBEGOTTEN of the dead.
They were dead in their sins under the Law!
The sting of sin was death.
The strength of sin was the Law!

Ezk 37:26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

Ezk 37:28 And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Who the Son set free was free indeed, they were being FREED from the Law of sin/Death! (I believe, still today, being FREED from the works of the flesh unto bearing Fruit of the Spirit(AND THE GIFTS)/of the Holy Ghost!). (Again, against such, there is NO LAW).

1Pe 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Heb 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Heb 9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
Heb 9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Heaven and Earth passed away... BUT,
Jesus' Words will Never Pass away!

Pro 1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:
The English language omits a great deal of gender in nouns, articles and adjectives...
The Commandments: From the Father. (Thou Shalt Not eat of that tree!)
From the Mother:
If caught in adultery by two or three witnesses, capital punishment, stoning to death!
Just pointing out the more precise understanding of the romance languages and others which identify gender more often.
