Please join us for an Independence Day Prayer Service in Oakhurst, CA

Before the barbecues and fireworks begin, join your neighbors for a once-in-a-generation milestone.

This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States, and Christ Church Anglican invites the Oakhurst community to a special morning dedicated to prayer, thanksgiving, and living history.

📜 Faith and Freedom in Revolutionary America 📜

Did you know that Anglican clergy served alongside American troops during the Revolutionary War?

During our Independence Day service, we will hear words from the Reverend John Hurt, a Revolutionary-era chaplain whose ministry encouraged soldiers during one of the most challenging periods in American history.

As we mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, we will reflect on the role faith, prayer, and courage played in the founding generation's struggle for liberty.

Join us for this special service of Prayer and Thanksgiving.
