The Radical Act of Un-Comforming!
Are you feeling bone-deep exhausted by a world that demands you prove your worth through constant hustle and toxic productivity?

This Sunday, we’re diving into Romans 12:1–5 (NRSV) to talk about the radical act of un-conforming. We will deconstruct the anxious, competitive scripts our culture hands us and explore what it means to build a community rooted in deep diversity, collective care, and radical belonging.
As a community that strives to embrace diversity and seek justice, we know that uniformity is the goal of empires, but radical inclusion is the goal of the Jesus movement. Your body is holy. Your presence is needed. Your liberation is tied to mine.

Come exactly as you are—with all your doubts, your weariness, and your hope. Everyone is welcome.

Hello everyone!

God is blessing Oakhurst New Community UMC. We’re on the move to help our community and help create positive change in people’s lives.

We’re excited about moving forward with a more inclusive Facebook live video experience. Hopefully next Sunday our camera angles and sound will be improved. We go live each Sunday at 10 AM Pacific Standard Time. If you’re not able to join us live, you can always view the recording after the service.

If you have any prayer requests or praises, feel free to post them during the service and we will try to include them in our prayers.

Thank you, and God bless.

Our worship live video for Sunday, April 19th has been removed out of respect for our Congregation member who experienced a medical incident during service today. We are pleased to share that by Gods grace and presence, all is well and our Congregation is safe.
