Some of Oakdale’s biggest stories are still standing… you just have to know where to look.

Long before cars filled our streets, J.B. Stearns built a blacksmith and carriage shop that helped keep Oakdale moving. He later became the town’s very first mayor, leaving a legacy that’s still part of our community today.
