Today is Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of the Lenten season—a time of reflection, prayer, and preparation. And with Lent comes a cherished tradition here at CM Performing Arts Center: the return of our annual touring presentation of Journey Cross & Crucifixion.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 39th year of sharing this powerful service with churches and parishes across Long Island. Each stop on the tour brings the story of Christ’s journey to life through music, scripture, and dramatic presentation, offering communities a moving opportunity to gather in faith during this sacred season.

After traveling throughout the island, Journey Cross & Crucifixion will once again come “home” to the CM Performing Arts Center on Good Friday with 3 services at 12PM, 3PM & 7PM

We hope you’ll join us at one of these services as we begin this Lenten journey together.
