✨Ministry Opportunity Spotlight!✨
✨ In 2025, we began Próximos Pasos—the first Christian non-denominational church in the coastal fishing village of San Lorenzo, Ecuador. We primarily minister to the Jovenes (youth), Adultos Mayores (Elderly) and our Próximos Pasitos (Next Steps Kids Ministry) with biblically based bilingual curriculum (Gospel Project). We have hosted two international teams, Lego Robotics,
Family Movie Nights, Youth Gatherings, Weekly English Classes, Adultos Mayores Ministry, Preschool Remodel at the Basica Elementary, and multiple rehabilitation partnerships with the Colegio (junior high and highschool).
From these ministry opportunities, we’ve prayerfully identified two of our student ministry leaders, Alejandro and Eliana, who are ready to take their next steps toward God’s heart through their college education. Both have been accepted into the B.S. in Theology program at Rio Grande University (https://riogrande.edu) in Texas—with their first semester starting on January 12, 2026 (fully online). This is a huge step as they answer their vocational calling!
RGU is a non-profit that subsidizes approximately $25,000–$30,000 per student annually, which is an incredible blessing. However, each student is still required to pay their share of approximately $5,000 per year. Additionally, RGU requests that they each have 25 prayer partners. If you’d like to be part of that, please reach out to me and I’ll send you the Google form to fill out.
