OVC is an Evangelical Pentecostal church dedicated to reaching out to people of every age group in our community and around the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. What We Believe -- The Bible is the only inspired, infallible and authoritative Wor
d of God. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: The Father, on, and Holy Spirit. In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. In His Virgin Birth, In His Sinless Life, In His Miracles, In His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, In His bodily resurrection, In His Ascension to the right hand of the Father, In His personal return in power and glory. A lifestyle and practice of ethical conduct and integrity consistent with the character of Jesus Christ and biblical standards. Justification by faith in the atonement of Jesus Christ and regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man. The prime agency for the work of God's kingdom is the local Christian church functioning under the sovereignty of our Lord Jesus Christ. To the church have been entrusted the ordinance of the believer's baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper. In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit which includes: Baptism in the Holy Spirit as am experience distinct from regeneration; His dwelling, by the Christian is enabled to live a godly life; His supernatural gifting and empowering the Church for its work, life, and worship. Marriage is God ordained, God designed union only between one man and one woman. How We Worship -- Worship is a lifestyle of honoring the Lord -- starting from the heart and manifesting itself in how we live our lives.
