What an absolutely AMAZING and heartwarming Youth Sunday at New Life Church! 💜🔥

Our youth didn’t just participate… they led the ENTIRE service from beginning to end, and they did an outstanding job! We watched a generation rise up boldly for Christ and serve with excellence, passion, and confidence! THEY WERE READY & ON FIRE!!!!!!!
From set up, morning huddle, prayer, praise & worship, praise dance, offering, ushers & greeters, musicians, media, the preached Word, altar call, salvation, and benediction — our youth handled it ALL! 🙌🏽

Seeing NLC Youth operate in their gifts, support one another, and allow God to use them was truly powerful. The presence of God filled the room, lives were touched, and many were motivated!! This is proof that God is raising up “A Chosen Generation” for his work and kingdom.

We are so proud of every young person who served and attended! 💫

Pentecost Sunday at New Life Church was life changing!! The atmosphere was saturated with the presence and glory of God from beginning to end. Healing took place, breakthrough came forth, burdens were lifted, chains were broken, and lives were truly transformed at the altar. There was such a strong move of the Holy Spirit that many walked in one way and left completely different. The power of God met people right at their point of need.
Pastor Gary released a timely and prophetic word! The message was a reminder that the time is now.
This Pentecost service was more than just another church gathering; it was a divine encounter and a wake-up call. The Holy Spirit moved with power, love, and fire!!! It was a reminder that God is still healing, still delivering, still restoring, and still filling His people with fresh strength and fresh oil.

What a powerful and life-changing weekend with our special guests, Glory Unlimited Ministries, for our Chicago Missions Weekend! ❤️🔥

This weekend was the epitome of “Love in Action” filled with much love, prayer, outreach, healing, and the power of Jesus Christ moving throughout our communities. Our team represented four generations, ranging from 10 years old to 82 years young. To God be the Glory!!!

Upon the team’s arrival on Thursday, we hit the ground running serving families at a local emergency shelter. We provided a wonderful, delicious home cooked meal by Chef James Cooper and ministered God’s love to His beautiful people. They were so blessed by the food and the words of encouragement. One gentleman said, “When I came in the shelter, I was down but then I saw the light in you and now I feel good. I got joy cause everything is gonna be alright. God is with me.” Praise God!

On Friday, we went out into Columbus Park and Garfield Park where we fed many people, passed out toiletries, prayed with individuals and families, and demonstrated acts of love throughout the community. We also visited the Oak Park and Chicago Police Departments to pray for the officers, covering them in prayer, strength, wisdom, and praying the protection of Jesus.

Friday night was also so special as we gathered with teens to pour into the next generation through prayer, encouragement, fellowship, and fun.

Then on Saturday, a team of 18 went to Peterson Park Senior Living and Rehabilitation Center where we personally met with and prayed for EACH of the 173 residents. What a beautiful time of encouragement, worship, and connection. So many smiles, tears, hugs, and so much joy & hope was shared.

Throughout the entire weekend:
✨ Many people were fed, naturally & spiritually
✨ Many hearts were encouraged
✨ Many lives were impacted
✨ And most importantly… 6 souls gave their lives to Jesus Christ! 🙌🏽✝️

There is no greater miracle than salvation, and we give God all the glory for what He has done!

A very special THANK YOU to our amazing guests, Glory Unlimited Ministries, for helping bring the love and power of Jesus into Chicago communities. Your passion, humility, and heart for people blessed us tremendously.

Thank you to every volunteer, prayer warrior, and supporter who made this weekend possible. The Kingdom of God was advanced, and Chicago was impacted by the love of Christ. This mission was truly “Love in Action”❤️🙏🏽🙌🏾❤️

There are many people who come to church, but few who are truly faithful in serving the church.

As the Bible says in Matthew 23:11, “But the greatest among you shall be your servant.” And in Mark 9:35, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”

Elder Robert is that kind of person. Whenever you call, he is right there every time.

This ministry would not flow the way it does without faithful people like him. Often overlooked and underappreciated, yet holding tremendous value to the work of God and the life of this church.

Elder Robert, today we honor you and celebrate you on your birthday. We pray that God will continue to bless you indeed, strengthen you, and reward your faithfulness and dedication.

Saturday’s outreach was such a blessing! We had an amazing time hanging out with the residents and staff at Peterson Park.

From serving food to serving people, and most importantly sharing the love of God, it was a day filled with joy. So much laughter, sunshine, and beautiful moments all day long!

Mother’s Day was unforgettable!! 💐

So many amazing moments and memories were made that will stay with us for years to come. Dr. Patricia Bailey released a powerful word that ignited the entire room. One takeaway that really stayed with us was: never go to battle and leave the job undone. It reminded us all that we still have a great work to finish.

We honored and celebrated our mothers, but most importantly, Jesus was lifted high! 🙌

We were excited to see our Peterson Park community, Bus many of there residents to attend our service. They got up early loaded there residents and made it to our service. May God honor them and there leadership for their sacrifice.

So thankful for our New Life Church community. There is nothing greater than seeing lives changed and souls saved.

And by the way… one person gave their life to Jesus!! ✨
And many more rededicated their lives to Him.

God is moving, and we are grateful to be part of it! ❤️
