New Hope UCC

You don’t have to believe the “right” things to belong here. New Hope offers you a rare kind of welcome. Worship with us every Sunday at 10:00 am.

One that isn’t contingent on certainty, conformity, or past church experience. New Hope UCC is Rooted in love, GROWING in faith, and WELCOMING all. Sunday School for 3-year-olds through 8th grade most Sundays is currently on hiatus due to COVID. Our Food Pantry is open to the community on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10 am - 12 pm. Right now, you are able to come get food once a week. We also acce

pt donations of canned food and dried goods, if you would like to donate. Food can be dropped off at the church office week days between 9 am - 2 pm., during the pantry hours or we can make special arrangements, if needed. If you know of a business or group that would like to hold a food drive, please reach out and let us know. We are registered to complete 250 acts of kindness and have already started! Please join us in writing any act of kindness that you perform (or an act someone does for you), individually or as a group, on a colored strip of paper. I will recruit some volunteers to create a paper chain of kindness that stretches around Zion Hall. Let’s be known as the Kind Church! If you’d like to volunteer or discuss involvement, see Daune Sebastian.

The United States of Kindness is a nationwide campaign to mark America’s 250th anniversary through action. Americans are invited to take part in 250 Acts of Kindness and share their stories, creating a visible, unifying movement that reaches every corner of the country. Kindness is not soft, it is a proven force that strengthens trust, wellbeing, learning environments, workplaces, and communities. The United Church of Christ is partnering with The Values in Action Foundation in a project to lift up kindness and encourage participation in the US of Kindness by doing 250 acts of kindness.
