We're excited to welcome the St. Gerald Giving Wall this Advent.

This holiday season, let us be a beacon of hope for our parish families who may be facing difficult times. We invite you to visit the Giving Wall on display in Arnold Hall December 14/15 and fill an envelope or maybe a few. Please return filled envelopes no later than December 22. Your giving will directly benefit school families.

This Christmas season, let's spread love and light to those in need within our parish community. Your generous donation can bring warmth, joy, and hope to families who may be facing difficult times.

The GIVING WALL will be in Arnold Hall on December 14 and 15.

We kindly request gift cards to help ease the burden on these families.
Please place your filled envelopes in the collection baskets or drop them off at the Parish Office no later than Sunday, December 22.

Checks can be made payable to St. Gerald. If choosing to donate cash or check, we will purchase gift cards through the St. Gerald Manna Gift Card program, and the bonus earned will be passed along to the family's tuition account, maximizing the impact of your donation.

Thank you for your kindness and compassion. May this Christmas season bring you and your loved ones peace, joy, and blessings. Merry Christmas!

They are, from left to right: Linda MacLean, Jan White, Janice Conrad, Cathy Adams, Mary Ellen Kasley, Tom Gill, Anne Dignan Paul Freitag, Valrie Baird, Andy Palenica and Marty Ruzella. These crucifixes were made from one of the original St. Gerald church pews and will be available on June 29/30 after all the weekend masses.

They are a beautiful token of remembrance.

Join us in celebrating the exceptional leaders behind our schools during National Principals Month this October! We will be spotlighting some of the principals from across the Archdiocese of Chicago who lead our schools with dedication and passion.

First up is Dr. Kathy Berry from St. Symphorosa Catholic School. One of her teachers said this about her: "Dr. Berry is a wonderful, compassionate leader who genuinely cares for the adults and children with whom she works. She is very empathetic and approachable and makes the school atmosphere feel like home. I admire her devotion and tenacity. We teachers are encouraged, mentored and loved. Dr. Berry is the best principal I have worked with and I appreciate her dedication to all of us."

Dr. Berry, thank you for your outstanding leadership and your commitment to creating a nurturing school environment for everyone.

Thank you to all of our principals for the positive impact you make in shaping our school communities.
