For as long as I can remember, every Sunday after the 11 AM service there is a group of people from the church who gather together for lunch. Through the years the group has changed- it has grown and shrunk according to the season and availability. It served some people for a time and then new people always come. Anyone from visiting out of town guests, regular attenders, new comers, young, old, single, families, and everything in between. But one thing remains through out the changes- it's an open door policy.

The places that we pick are the ones that accommodate a whole bunch of people. They hold space for laughter and across the table conversations. It's a time of fellowship, where believers can strengthen their relationships with other believers. Where, as a church family, we can learn more about each other, laugh together, share stories, and create memories.

This is why I love this church, it's not just about 1 hour on Sunday morning to check the box. It's actually doing life TOGETHER, the way that God intended us to.

"How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!" Psalm 133:1
