The Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society is an official philanthropic organization of the Greek Orthodox Church in America, established in November of 1931. Philoptochos is the largest organization of Greek Orthodox women which supports many charities while spiritually enriching its members through their participation in its philanthropic work. 🎶 Celebrating 60 Years of Service! 🎶
Last weekend, through the creativity and talent of Fr. Nick and Pres. Mary Greanias, along with participating choir members, we honored and congratulated our beloved organist, Rosie, for an incredible 60 years of music, dedication, and faithful service to St. Nicholas Church. The celebration included live performances from an array of classic musicals — a beautiful tribute to her legacy.

For six decades, Rosie has filled our church with beautiful hymns, lifted our hearts during worship, and shared their talent with unwavering commitment. Week after week, year after year, Rosie has been the steady heartbeat of our liturgy — a true blessing to our parish family.

Thank you, Rosie for your devotion, your faith, and the countless moments of inspiration you have given us through your music. Your legacy is woven into the very history of St. Nicholas, and we are deeply grateful.

We'd also like to congratulate Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Kankakee for their 100th Anniversary!

Last weekend, through the creativity and talent of Fr. Nick and Pres.
