Church on the Way Through prayer, to merge our energies and talents, to bring people to Christ. WE BELIEVE in one Godโ€”the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(1)

WE BELIEVE that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living

WE BELIEVE that human beings are born with a fallen nature, and are, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually. WE BELIEVE that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost. WE BELIEVE that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin. WE BELIEVE that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers. WE BELIEVE that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.

Join us as we send off and continue to pray for Neo and all the others from the Florida District and the Florida District NMI as they embark on a mission trip to Nicaragua. Thank you all for saying โ€œyesโ€ and answering the call to spread the Good News throughout the world.

We will continue to pray for all of you, and canโ€™t wait to hear the impact this trip has had on all of you.

Following Jesus means learning to stop hiding the parts of yourself that still need His grace.

There are sins you regret, habits you are still fighting, and moments when your actions fall painfully short of what you believe. The temptation is to hide those struggles because you fear people will question your faith if they see how imperfect you really are.

But pretending to be whole does nothing to heal what is broken. Christ never asked you to build a reputation for righteousness. He calls you to repentance, honesty, and a life that is continually being changed by His presence.

My testimony is not that I never needed saving. It is that Jesus found me broken, and I am still learning to live in the grace that rescued me.

๐Ÿ’™ **October is Pastor Appreciation Month!** ๐Ÿ’™

This month, we want to take a moment to recognize our pastors and thank them for all they do for our church family and community.

Being a pastor is about a whole lot more than standing behind a pulpit on Sunday morning. It's the phone calls, hospital visits, late nights, prayers, conversations, and sometimes just being there when someone needs a listening ear. And let's be honest, putting up with all of us deserves a little appreciation on its own! ๐Ÿ˜‚

But seriously, we are blessed to have pastors who love God, love people, and have a heart for serving others. They don't have all the answers, and they certainly aren't perfect (none of us are), but they continue to answer God's call and walk alongside us as we grow in our faith.

To our pastors Tim Howze Chuck Acheson, Cheryl Walsh we thank you for your leadership, your patience, your prayers, and your willingness to serve even when nobody is watching. We see the difference you make, and we appreciate you!

But we also know, they would not be able to do what they do, if it weren't for the spouses that are often in the background ensuring everything is running like it should. So we want to say thank you to Mary Shaw Howze and Acheson for all the support you have given for the many years in ministry.

Church family, let's show our pastors some love this month! Whether it's a kind word, a note of encouragement, or simply taking a moment to pray for them, let them know how much they mean to you.

And remember, pastors need prayer too. Probably a little extra after dealing with some of us! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Dear parents, donโ€™t be discouraged if your Sunday looks a little messy. Sometimes, bringing your children to church means carrying extra bags, comforting a crying baby, following a curious toddler, or missing parts of the sermon because you need to attend to them.

Keep bringing them.
Keep teaching them.
Keep pointing them to Christ.

They may not understand everything they hear today, but let them grow up seeing the importance of gathering with Godโ€™s people and hearing His Word.

The church should be a place where families are encouraged as they seek to raise their children in the Lord.

A little noise from a child should remind us to exercise patience, not make parents feel unwelcome.

โ€œLet the little children come to me and do not hinder themโ€ฆโ€ โ€” Matthew 19:14
