Spring FCA Fields of Faith – A Night to Remember!

What an incredible evening at our Spring FCA Fields of Faith! Students, families, and community members came together for a powerful night of worshipping Jesus, testifying of His love, and fellowshipping under the stars and lots of wind!

The event featured worship and music led by DJ Rob McGaha, John Morgan Bolding, Wyatt Bolding, Joshua Mote, and Billy Wilhite, creating a meaningful atmosphere for all who attended. We so appreciate them volunteering their talents to this wonderful night.

Leading off our speakers included High School FCA sponsor Randy Orr, Junior High sponsor Elizabeth Williams, and FCA Area Representative Michael Mote, who each shared encouraging words and reminders of God’s faithfulness.

The heart of the night came through the moving student testimonies and explanation of FCA evangelism and discipleship plans “E3” and “The Four.”

Junior high students Lawson Green, James Gregory, Jackson Harrell, and Bradley Kovac boldly shared about “E3.”

High school students Abby Alamond, Jackson Bradley, Caroline Bradley, Natalee Brumley, Isaiah Joles, Riley Kitchens, JT Layton, Peyton Sears, Luke Simmons, Conner Walters, and Scarlett Wilhite shared about “The Four”discipleship and also gave powerful, personal testimonies that inspired and encouraged everyone present.

Our students led with courage and conviction that impacted all present. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Monthly Meeting

We had an awesome time at our monthly FCA meeting for both high school and junior high! Over 250 students were in attendance. Pastor Mike brought a powerful word on bearing one another’s burdens from Galatians 6:2-3. This truth has been beautifully lived out in so many ways this week.

A big thanks to Liam Huffty and Conner Walters for stepping up as part of an object lesson that really brought the message to life!

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2

Fellowship of Christian Athletes Meeting Recap

Today’s FCA meeting for our junior high and high school students focused on casting down imaginations and the importance of not allowing feelings to overcome hope. We reflected on 1 Corinthians 13:12-13, reminding us that while we may not always understand God’s plan, faith, hope, and love remain our foundation.

It was a powerful time of devotion, discussion, and encouragement as we learned to trust in God’s truth over fleeting emotions. Keep holding onto hope!

🗣️🗣️Oak Grove students joined forces with Beekman Charter, Delhi Charter, Forest High, Rayville High, and Riverfield High for an incredible day of leadership growth and faith at the FCA Leadership Conference!

With over 200 students in attendance hosted by OG First Church of God, we focused on developing leadership skills, building character, and demonstrating courage in sharing our faith publicly. Together, we embraced the call to be a generation of service and integrity, striving for excellence in our schools, homes, and communities.

Our theme, Reset, Refuel, Renew, reminded us that when we place our hope in the Lord, He strengthens us for the journey ahead (Isaiah 40:31). We were inspired by the courage of students who shared their testimonies, showing how faith can transform lives.

A huge thank you to First Church of God and Pastor Jonathan Williams for hosting us, our principal Mr. Warner for making this day possible, and the Northeast Louisiana FCA staff for pouring into our students. Special thanks to Coach Ryan Gregory for his inspiring message.

Most importantly, we want to recognize our students for their engagement, respect, and willingness to grow. This day was a powerful reminder of what happens when we come together with open hearts and a shared purpose!
