Please plan to join us tomorrow morning as we get together to study and worship. We will begin with Bible classes for all ages beginning at 9:30 a.m. Our adult class will continue our study of the book of Revelation from Revelation 21 discussing a new heaven and earth (Revelation 21:18-27) and then moving into Revelation 22 to discuss the ending of this interesting study. Our high school and college class will study the need for the judges (Judges 2:1-23). Our children's classes will continue their Old Testament study by looking into the Philistines returning the Ark and being subdued (1 Samuel 6:1-7:17). Worshipping in Spirit and Truth

The Oak Grove Church of Christ is a fellowship of Christians who live in and around the community of Oak Grove, Missouri. Our aim is to seek to obey God the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord. We seek to teach the truth found only in the inerrant word of God, the Bible, and to worship in the pattern taught by the apostles to the first century church. (John 4:23-24).

The church of Christ is noted for its emphasis upon returning to New Testament Christianity and for its desire to “be perfectly joined together in the same mind and … judgment...” (1 Cor. 1:10). We try to follow the basic, innocent faith that was proclaimed on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2), when the church was established.

Our worship is simple. We worship singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, making melody in our hearts to the Lord, (Ephesians 5:19). We observe the supper of the Lord in remembrance of his sacrifice on the first day of each week, ( Matthew 26:26-28, Acts 20:7). We study the scriptures through Bible study, teaching, and preaching, (2 Timothy 2:15, 4:2). Our members also contribute as we’ve been prospered, (1 Corinthians 16:2).

While the church of Christ is a collective body of believers made up of congregations around the globe, the church of Christ is independent of any denominational organization. We are not associated with any national or world headquarters. Yet, we cooperate voluntarily with our sister congregations in the Lord’s work and fellowship. Each congregation patterns itself after the pattern found in the New Testament. If you would like to learn more about what it means to worship in spirit and truth, by means of studying the Holy Bible we invite you to contact us. You may message us here on Facebook, email us at: [email protected], or call (816) 690-4599.
