Once we have a bright and fueled fire, we must spread the Word! At camp we like to spread the Spirit through our worships, our welcoming intentions, and being in fellowship with one another. There’s no better way to spread our faith than through singing God’s praise over a campfire!

We all have a fiery faith within us, but we can all feel burnt out sometimes. For a good fire, we must have good fuel. What we put into our faith matters! When we fuel our fire with love, it is a lasting, sustainable, and warm faith. As Christians our goal is to love one another, and as 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 puts it, knowing “love is patient, love is kind” is the key to living out our mission. Love is the best fuel for keeping our fire bright!

We all have gifts, whether it’s serving, joy, laughter, love, kindness, or any of the many things that make us human. When we use these gifts, we are spreading God’s love to one another and burning bright our faith for everyone to see! We are the light of the world, and we are praising God when we shine and see others shine. This is what we ignite our faith for – to glorify God and praise the joy that God gives us!
