Come worship with us. 7pm, tonight

Today is Ash Wednesday.

Gracious God, out of your love and mercy you breathed into dust the breath of life, creating us to serve you and our neighbors. Call forth our prayers and acts of kindness, and strengthen us to face our mortality with confidence in the mercy of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. —Bread for the Day

Happy anniversary to Redeemer’s Community Garden..TEN YEARS..and Redeemer’s Little Food Pantry..EIGHT YEARS!!!! The garden has enabled me to grow produce and herbs to put in our food pantry. It is also a quiet place to hold church services, group meetings, and to just sit and watch the birds. The pantry , as you can see from the photos, was just a box on the church lawn. It is so much more now. And Five years ago we added a library. I have been so incredibly blessed to be the steward for the pantry. I have met so many wonderful people and have seen the kindness and generosity that is brought to those who depend on the pantry. I thank all of you from the bottom of my humble heart for all you do to help sustain the pantry. May there be a day when the pantry is no longer needed.
