Friends in Faith is back this school year with some exciting new events 🙌🏼

Our first event of the school year will be walking in The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Orland Park. The walk is on October 5 and everyone is welcome to join our team!

Friends in Faith retreat #2 in the books! ✅

God’s presence was apparent in everything and everyone yesterday. We are so grateful for the friendships we have, the counsel we received, the laughter we shared, and the love we felt. God always knows what we need, even when we don’t.

Leaders- thank you for being the most honest, vulnerable, and supportive role models. Your hard work and dedication to spreading God’s word is the anchor of this retreat. None of this is possible without you.

Participants- thank you for trusting us and being open to this experience. The most rewarding aspect of this work is seeing your growth in virtue and in friendship with God & each other. Your “yes” is the reason this retreat is successful.

Fr. Mike- thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend time with us. Confession is such a gift, and we are forever thankful to receive it in a comfortable environment. Thank you for being a strong vessel of God’s truth!

Parents, families, and Damian community- thank you for trusting us, praying for us, and providing donations. Your support is the reason we are able to host this retreat.

‼️Important change to our upcoming lenten retreat ‼️

Our April retreat has been changed to a 1 DAY ONLY event. Drop off is at 8:00am on Saturday morning at Mt Assisi Retreat Center and pick up is at 8:00pm the same day. The price has decreased from $100 to $50 per participant. It is our hope that more participants will be available to attend because of this change.

Nick & Mary will be at both the 9:30 and 11:30am masses at St. Damian tomorrow to answer any questions you may have concerning this retreat. Flyers and registration forms will be available in the Narthex! 🩷
