TOMORROW @ SOUTHLAND:

Wave of Kindness Project – Supporting Our First Responders 🚓🚑🚒

This month, the Wave of Kindness Project is assembling replenishment packs for our incredible police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and rescue teams — the everyday heroes who faithfully serve and protect our community.

We would love your help! Every donation, big or small, makes a meaningful difference. 🤍

Items Needed:
• Bottled water
• Electrolyte drink mix packets (Crystal Light, Gatorade powder, etc.)
• Beef jerky
• Healthy, non-perishable snacks (granola bars, trail mix, nuts, fruit snacks, etc.)
• Small notepads and pens

How You Can Help:
If you’d like to donate, please comment below or send us a message to arrange pickup or drop-off.

All donations will go directly to our local police and fire departments as a small way of saying “thank you” for the sacrifices they make every day.

A couple of big announcements tomorrow morning at 10:30 and the next point in our series: CHRISTOCENTRIC LIVING.

And don't forget that we're giving back to local animal shelters by collecting new or gently used items you may no longer need—things like leashes, dog and cat bowls, unopened food, and treats that are still good.

Shelters can also use items like old towels, paper towels, and cleaning supplies—anything that helps care for animals.

Kim will be delivering everything this week so tomorrow is your last opportunity to drop off donations at Southland.

In I Timothy 1:15, Paul—arguably one of the greatest Christians to ever live—called himself the “chief of sinners.” No excuses. No pretending. Just an honest acknowledgment of reality. Then in Romans 3, he reminds us that all of us fall into that same category. And long before that, Isaiah said we’re like sheep who wander off—prone to drift, a little stubborn, and yes… a little stinky.

That’s us.

And yet, God loves us anyway. Truly amazing.

So from the “chief of the stinky sheep” here at Southland… just know I love every one of you.
