The Bible isn’t self-help.

It’s not life hacks.
Not productivity tips.
Not “good vibes” for a better week.

This is the authoritative Word of God.

Which means it doesn’t just suggest—
it commands.

It confronts.
It corrects.
It calls for surrender.

And here’s the reality:

You can’t separate Jesus from His Word.

To ignore God’s Word
is to ignore God Himself.

To reject His truth
is to reject His authority.

Because Jesus isn’t asking
to be your life coach.

He’s King.

So the question is:

Do you submit to God’s Word…
or just consume the parts you like?

Your heart doesn’t naturally drift toward God.

It hardens.

Rocky.
Distracted.
Overgrown with everything else.

Just like untouched ground.

So if the heart is the problem…
who can change it?

Not self-help.
Not religion.
Not trying harder.

Only God.

Only the Holy Spirit can break up hard ground.
Pull out the weeds.
Make dead soil live again.

That’s why Scripture says:

“The Lord your God will circumcise your heart.”

Meaning?

God doesn’t just improve you—
He transforms you from the inside out.

He gives you a new heart
that actually desires Him.

So the question is:

Are you trying to change yourself…
or surrendering to the One who actually can?

Your obedience doesn’t earn salvation.

It reveals it.

Fruit doesn’t make a tree alive—
it proves it’s alive.

In the same way, repentance, confession, and change
aren’t the reason God saves you.

They’re the evidence
that He already has.

But here’s the problem:

Good soil isn’t natural.

Hard hearts are.

Left untouched, the ground hardens.
And so do we.

That’s why salvation is a miracle.
God has to break up the soil.
God has to soften the heart.

And when He does?
Real fruit grows.

So the question is:

Is your life producing fruit…
or just appearances?
