Clare Catholic Parish, in the Diocese of Belleville, are called by God in baptism to be disciples of Jesus Christ. Centered in the Eucharist, and strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we strive to live the Gospel and further the reign of God. We do this by creating a vibrant faith community, by actively promoting justice and evangelization, and by using our gifts in the service of God's people, to give God glory and reverence all of Creation.

The St. Clare Respect Life Ministry is currently holding a supply drive to support Our Brothers' Keepers of Southern Illinois. This ministry accompanies individuals through an array of reentry services as they leave the prison system. OBK recognizes that all people are worthy of respect and their belief in the dignity of every person is their foundation. They are currently in need of the following items to support their clients: men's belts, 3-1 full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash, shaving cream and razors, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, toliet paper, and bar soap. Please return to the St. Clare Parish Gathering Space by Sunday, June 21. Thank you for supporting our supply drive for this important ministry!

Our beautiful grounds serve our parish’s spiritual and social needs. From our Art & Environment ministry that uses cut flowers from the gardens to decorate the church, to the garden ministry that offers fresh produce after Mass. Social gatherings can be held on any of our three patios by calling the parish office for a reservation. Consider adding to your prayer life this summer by stopping by any of our outdoor devotional spaces or gardens. Many teams of volunteers have created and sustained these beautiful spaces for these uses. Thanks be to God!
