Children under 18 must be accompanied by someone 21 or older and will be given special wristbands for easy identification that they are meeting this requirement to be on the festival grounds. No face coverings or hoods will be allowed.

We are excited for our young seminarians from St. Clare Parish, and so are others! Please continue to pray for these wonderful young men during this time of discernment.

St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in O’Fallon, Illinois, is celebrating an extraordinary season of vocations as four young men from the same parish are now in seminary formation. Three entered seminary this year, joining a fourth parishioner who had already begun discerning the priesthood. Before leaving for formation, the young men were able to serve together at Mass, giving their parish a visible reminder of the fruit that can come from a community centered on Christ.

Parish leaders have pointed to faithful Catholic families, Eucharistic Adoration, reverent worship, religious education, and the prayers of the community as important parts of the culture that helped foster these vocations. At a time when many Catholics pray for more men to answer the call to the priesthood, St. Clare’s story is a beautiful reminder that vocations are often nurtured quietly over years through prayer, example, and a parish willing to encourage young people to listen for God’s call.

High school youth: Back to school means back to the Youth Room at St. Clare School for Sunday night Youth Group sessions after a summer of fun, fellowship and outdoor games. All high school youth from any parish and any faith are welcome to come for real conversations about our faith -- as well as pizza and foosball -- from 6 to 8 p.m. at the school, 214 W. Third in downtown O'Fallon.
