FROM TODAY'S DAILY MANNA: PERIL OF INORDINATE AMBITION — 1 Kings 1:1–13

Ambition is not sinful, but ambition without godly boundaries can become destructive.

Adonijah wanted the throne so desperately that he exalted himself, ignored God’s timing, gathered conspirators and pursued what God had not appointed for him. Inordinate ambition can turn friends into enemies, fuel jealousy, justify deception, destroy relationships and make people sacrifice character for position.

Never destroy another person to build yourself. Never compromise your soul to achieve your dream. Let God determine your destination, timing and promotion.

True success is rising without falling away from God.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from selfish ambition. Teach me patience, humility and integrity. Let my success never cost me my soul. Promote me in Your time and for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

FROM TODAY'S DAILY MANNA: NOT A TALL ORDER — Hebrews 13:15–17

Christianity is tested most when we are mistreated.

God calls us to praise Him continually, do good, share with others, forgive, and refuse retaliation—even when others have hurt us. This is not weakness; it is Christlike strength.

Corrie ten Boom’s forgiveness of a former N**i guard who had persecuted her reminds us that grace can triumph over deep wounds. We must never allow another person’s wickedness to determine our character.

We can maintain boundaries without bitterness and seek justice without revenge. Obedience may be difficult, but through Christ, it is not a tall order.

Prayer:
Lord, give me grace to forgive, love, do good, and remain faithful even when I am mistreated. Let Christ be seen in my response. Amen.

FROM TODAY'S DAILY MANNA: THE MAIN POINT — Galatians 4:19–26

Paul’s greatest burden was not merely that the Galatians had received the gospel, but that Christ be formed in them.

Like a woman in travail, he was willing to labour, pray, teach, correct, and persevere until Christ’s character became evident in their lives. This challenges the Church today: soul winning must go beyond conversion to discipleship, maturity, and Christlikeness.

We must not abandon struggling believers but travail for their restoration. The main point of Christianity is not religious activity, position, or numbers—it is Christ formed in us and revealed through us.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, make Christ the main point of my life. Give me a burden for souls and grace to labour in prayer until Christ is formed in me and in those You have entrusted to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

FROM TODAY'S DAILY MANNA: BLESSING OF BOUNDARIES

God’s boundaries are not designed to imprison us but to protect, preserve and direct us. From Eden to Leviticus, Scripture reveals that crossing divine boundaries can bring devastating consequences, while obedience brings safety, purity and fellowship with God.

In a generation that celebrates unrestricted freedom, believers must recover the discipline of saying “NO” to sin, temptation, ungodly relationships and compromising environments.

Grace does not abolish boundaries; it empowers us to walk within them. The fence may seem restrictive, but it may be protecting your destiny.

Prayer:
Father, give me grace to recognize, respect and obey Your boundaries. Deliver me from rebellion, compromise and careless living. Keep my heart pure, my feet on the right path and my life pleasing to You. Preserve my salvation, family, testimony and destiny, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

FROM TODAY'S DAILY MANNA: A REPUTATION FOR TRUTH — Psalm 119:25–32

In a generation where lies are increasingly justified as “white lies,” Christians must deliberately choose the way of truth.

The psalmist prayed, “Remove from me the way o61f lying,” and declared, “I have chosen the way ofqn truth.”

Daniel was trusted, Joseph stood for righteousness when nobody was watching, and Obadiah feared God in a corrupt environment. Our words, promises, business dealings and everyday conduct must reflect Christ, who is the Truth. May our reputation be so anchored in truth that people can trust our word—and God can trust our character.

Prayer: Lord, remove every form of deceit from my heart. Give me grace to speak truth, keep my word, admit my failures and walk in integrity. Make my life a testimony of Christ’s truth. Amen.
