We do not deserve the attention God lavishes on us! As He calls us to Himself, we are on the receiving end of boundless love and mercy from Him, shown especially in the death and resurrection of our Lord, to whom we have been united. Our sins brought Jesus to the cross, but the empty tomb invites us to eternal life. God calls those who need to be saved—sinners like us—with the gracious Good News proclaimed to us in worship this day.

Our worship services are held each Sunday at 9 am. Links to todays bulletin and live-stream are here: www.stlukenunica.org/worship-online.

Heavenly Father,

Today, we pause to remember those who gave their lives so we may live free. Thank You for their courage, sacrifice, and love of country. May their memory inspire us to serve others selflessly and live with purpose.

Lord, comfort the families left behind—wrap them in Your peace and remind them their loved one’s sacrifice was not in vain. On this Memorial Day, help us to live worthy of their legacy and honor them with our words, our hearts, and our prayers.
Amen.

The arrival of the Holy Spirit is a day of celebration. This is a day to rejoice in promises kept and anticipate greater things to come. Today’s festival is a bridge for the church. It connects the commemoration of the life of Christ (through Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, and Easter) to the season centered on our life in Christ, beginning with Pentecost. The festival’s signature red color reminds us of the fiery arrival of the Spirit, the Spirit’s ongoing work as the heartbeat of Christ’s church, and the blood shed by believers past and present as they proclaim the crucified, risen, and ascended Christ.

Join us each Sunday for our 9 am worship services! Links to the bulletin and live-stream: www.stlukenunica.org/worship-online. Time of fellowship, coffee and sweet treats follow our service. Bible Study will be following, around 10:30 am.

Throughout our daily life, Christians function by faith alone. We practice generous stewardship by faith alone, trusting in the God who supplies all our needs. We keep God’s commands by faith alone, confident that His ways are better than our ways. And we pray by faith alone, assured our loving God has opened His door and His heart to hear and answer us. It is faith, and faith alone, that fuels us for life today and secures us for the life to come.

You are invited to worship with us this Sunday, and every Sunday, at 9 am. If you wish to view worship on live-stream, links are here. www.stlukenunica.org/worship-online.

We are hosting a Farewell Pot-luck following service and fellowship, wishing the Warnock family best wishes on their next faith journey.

We are thrilled to announce that our Parking Lot & Lighting Project is officially underway! After nearly two years of planning, praying, and preparing, it’s incredibly exciting to see the work finally begin.

The project includes repaving the large parking lot, expanding parking at our main entrance, reworking the paved alley behind the church, and installing brand‑new lighting to brighten and improve our property.

This week brought our first big milestone: the alley pavement was dug out, realigned, and filled with fresh gravel in preparation for paving. It’s happening — and it’s looking great already!

We can’t wait to keep sharing updates as this long‑anticipated project continues to take shape.

Throughout our lives, we look for a helper. Maybe that’s a parent who can hold our hand to cross the street, a spouse who can open the pickle jar, or an expert who delivers wisdom we don’t have. Our Lord Jesus Christ sends us a helper, the promised Holy Spirit. The Spirit opens our heart to faith and then fills it with heavenly wisdom. Present in our Baptism and present in worship, the Spirit keeps our hand firmly in our Savior’s, so that linked by love, we can walk confidently in His promises.

Join us on the morning of Mother's Day to celebrate our Lord. Service begins at 9 am. You can worship online here: www.stlukenunica.org/worship-online.

Bible class and Sunday school follow at 10:30 am. This Sunday will be the final Sunday school going into the summer, but will return this coming fall.

How far can you see? A clear vision makes a great difference in every situation! In “What God Ordains Is Always Good,” German hymn writer Samuel Rodigast shared this Christian life insight about God’s plan and providence: “Now I may know both joy and woe; someday I shall see clearly that He has loved me dearly” (LSB 760:4). Our worship helps us clarify our vision of God’s graciousness!

Join us each Sunday for our 9 am worship service. Pastor Micah Brooks leads us in learning God's graciousness! Links to our bulletin, and livestream are here: http://www.stlukenunica.org/worship-online.
