Dear New Hope,
It's a busy October, and I thank you for your cheerful and prayerful participation in the life of our church. We know that the livestream was difficult last week; we got our high speed wifi installed today, and we look forward to a smooth online service this Sunday. Here are some announcements and updates.
1) Friday Night Fellowship for Youth
From 6-8:30pm, all youth of NHC and KPCMD are invited to gather for fellowship. Meetings are held at KPCMD. Charlie Chung and John Lee have already signed up to serve as teachers. If you would like to learn more about this program, please contact Elder John Lee at [email protected]
2) Sat Prayer Meeting
We will pray 9:30-10:30am, and then spend about 30 minutes moving the file cabinets where they need to go. If you can help, please stick around. During prayer, we'll be praying for the Ark Outreach at 2pm. If you would like to sign up to serve our needy neighbors in Detroit, please sign up here:

3) Sunday
Worship is at 10am-11:10am, then everyone is invited to go down to the fellowship hall where pens and paper will be available to "write a letter to God" with our prayer requests. These letters will be collected and returned to you on Palm Sunday next April, and those who have a testimony of answered prayer will be encouraged to share on Easter Sunday.
After this activity, WEST homegroup volunteers will have prepared a snack for you to pick up and eat outside or on the way home. Those who have to stay for meetings with their ministry teams are invited to eat in the fellowship hall once the crowd thins out. We look forward to extending our time of fellowship for all our members when conditions are safer. We'll be reviewing the conditions at least monthly.
See you this weekend,
pSam
