The Faith and Freedom Coalition is seeking Door to Door Canvassers to implement and participate in a door to door voter education program. Canvassing teams will distribute FFC Voter Guides to targeted households in select areas and regions. FFC voter guides do not advocate the election or defeat of any candidate or party. The guides are clear and concise, with side-by-side comparisons on where the candidates stand on issues important to Christians and other people of faith.

The position would start on August 1 and end on November 3, 2020
Canvassers will report to the Regional Team Leader. Goals for the number of voter contacts per team will be set by the Statewide Field Coordinator. The Canvasser is expected to meet and surpass the goals for their assigned territory.

The Canvasser will report directly to the Regional Team Leader (RTL).

This is an hourly 1099 independent contractor position and each party shall act solely as an independent contractor with no authority to act for, bind, or commit the other in any way.

Responsibilities:
• Traveling throughout assigned region to complete in person voter contacts.
• Record and report the voter contact data as well as timesheets to the RTL.
• Meeting and surpassing all goals for voter contacts set by the Director of Voter Education.
Skills and Qualifications
• Experience running canvasses or other voter education programs.
• Ability to record and report voter contact information and timesheets in a timely fashion.
• Candidates must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and have a strong commitment to accountability.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; experience drafting voter contact materials.
• Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
• The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of political campaigns and campaign technology such as door to door canvassing software and phone applications.
• Reliable transportation is a must. Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle are required.
• Applicants should perform all duties with professionalism, respect for others, and represent the values of the Faith and Freedom Coalition.
