Today, a wonderful group of volunteers came together to shop for back-to-school clothes for the children and families served by Homeward Bound. Each year, The Salvation Army generously provides the funding that makes this effort possible, and Target once again welcomed us into the store before opening so we could get an early start.
We arrived bright and early, filled carts with carefully selected clothing, and loaded the truck with individualized packages for every child at Homeward Bound. Along the way, The Salvation Army and the Target team were incredibly supportive and helpful.
The Presbyterian Church of Novato is grateful to partner with organizations that care so deeply about our community. Thank you to Homeward Bound, The Salvation Army, and Target for helping ensure local children are ready and excited for the new school year!
