Worship on the Lake

On Sunday, September 13, First Presbyterian Church of Norwood will have the worship service on Lake Tillery at the Wadesboro Boat Club. Some worship on their boats. Some worship in lawn chairs on the dry land. And everyone is invited to fellowship after the service. Please bring a lawn chair and finger food.

If you would like to boat across the lake and worship on the water, please let us know by emailing [email protected] so arrangements can be made. Due to the limited parking, we will be carpooling from the church parking lot at 9:30 am.

Our deepest condolences to the family of Sonny Tyson. Sonny joined the Church Triumphant on Monday. Please keep Kaye, Tara, Tiffany and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in the sanctuary.

Celebrate the life of Sonny Tyson and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.

Today the flowers in the sanctuary were placed in loving memory of Abby, our church fur baby, who brought comfort and joy to all who knew her. Please continue to keep Dale in your thoughts and prayers as he grieves the loss of his faithful companion.
