St. Bartholomew's Church Norwich NY St Bartholomew's Church located on East Main St. in Norwich. Now celebrating 100 years as a parish. This makeshift house of worship was blessed on St.

Saturday Vigil at 4pm (Oct to Mar)
Sunday Mass at 8:30am
Tuesday and Thursday Mass at 9am On August 24, 1919 a frame dwelling house was purchased at the corner of Birdsall and Clinton streets in Norwich NY and converted into a small " Mission-school-chapel " as it was called by Father Tiernan. Bartholomew's day,August 24, 1919 by Father Tiernan. From this humble beginning emerged the Magnificent Little Cathedral which was dedicated by Monsignor Curley on November 27, 1927.
