Suggestion: Spend 15 minutes a day (before turning on TV) reading - praying, the Gospels (New Testament). Miracles - eventually!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Matthew 11:28 – A Personal Invitation:

“Come to Me (your name here) all you who are weary and heavily burdened, and I (Jesus) will give you rest (peace, relief, comfort, strength). Take My yoke upon your shoulders and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and your soul will find rest (peace, joy, healing), for My yoke (not yours) is easy and My burden is light!”

The transfiguration was a taste of the divine when Jesus appeared in all his grandeur. Christ changed in appearance in order that the disciples could behold Him in His glory.

Peter, James and John had a “WOW” experience - imagine your mind being somewhere far greater than our bodies are. You don’t want to go back once you experience that. Glory to God!

The disciples never forgot what happened that day on the mountain and no doubt this was intended. John wrote in his gospel, “We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only” (John 1:14)

Deuteronomy 6:4-7: “Hear O Israel (O America)! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone! Therefore, you (your name here) shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Take to heart these words (of God) which I enjoin on you today. Drill them into your children. Speak of them (grace before meals???) at home and abroad, whether you are busy or at rest!”
