It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude to God that the Connecticut State Missionary Baptist Convention mourns the passing of our beloved brother and colleague in ministry, Rev. Antwaun D. Richardson, Sr.

Rev. Richardson faithfully served the Kingdom of God with wisdom, humility, compassion, and unwavering dedication. As Pastor of Zion Baptist Church and President of the Congress of Christian Education, he poured into churches, leaders, families, and communities across Connecticut with a servant's heart and a passion for Christian education and spiritual growth.

While we grieve this tremendous loss, we also celebrate a life that reflected faith, leadership, love, and service. We are thankful to the Lord for lending Rev. Richardson to us and for the lasting impact he made as a devoted husband, loving father, faithful pastor, respected leader, and child of God.
His legacy will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched, the Gospel he preached, and the example he set before us all.

Please continue to keep the Richardson family, Zion Baptist Church, and the Connecticut State Missionary Baptist Convention in your prayers during this difficult time.

"Well done, thou good and faithful servant.."
- Matthew 25:23
