Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

We are deeply saddened and disturbed by the tragic shooting at a mosque in San Diego, where several lives were lost in what authorities are investigating as a hate crime.

Our hearts go out to the families of those who were killed and to everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.

We ask Allah (SWT) to grant the deceased the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus, to give their families patience and strength during this difficult time, and to bring comfort and healing to the entire community.

اللهم اغفر لهم وارحمهم وأسكنهم فسيح جناتك، واربط على قلوب أهلهم وذويهم.

O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, grant them spacious gardens in Paradise, and give patience and peace to their families.

This heartbreaking incident is also a reminder to all of us that we must remain vigilant and take the security of our masjid seriously. While our masjid is a place of peace and worship, we should always stay aware of our surroundings and do our part to help keep our community safe.

May Allah protect all of our masajid, our families, and our communities from harm.

Assalamu Alaikum,

Alhamdulillah, our brothers went out to Veteran’s Park for the moon sighting and the moon has been sighted.

This was also confirmed by The Central Hilal Committee of North America, declaring that the 1st of Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Accordingly, Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, In shaa Allah.

Additional details to follow regarding Al Madany’s Eid al-Adha Festivities and Prayer Timings.

May Allah ﷻ accept our عبادات, our qurbani, and grant barakah to our families and community.

Brother Furkan Kudia and his wife Sister Mumtaz Kudia on the sudden demise of his Mother Kulsum Abdul Rauf Kudia earlier this evening in Mumbai India.

May Allah(swt) give the Marhooma and all the Marhumeen the Highest place in
Jannat-ul-Firdaus,
Give them Magfirah,
Forgive all their short comings
give Sabr-e-Jameel to there Families, Friends and near and dear one’s.

Kullu nafsin thaiqatu al’mawt – Every soul shall taste Death…

"Surely we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return". (Al-Baqarah 2:156)

May Allah سبحانه و تعالى grant us and our loved ones a Righteous and Good End.

Al-Bukhaari (1325) and Muslim (945) narrated that Abu Hurayrah(RA) may Allah(swt)be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah(swt)Muhammad(saw)
said:
“Whoever attends the funeral until the prayer has been offered will have one qiraat (of reward) and whoever attends until the deceased has been buried will have two qiraats.” It was said, “What are the two qiraats?” He said: “Like two great mountains.”
A qiraat is a large amount of reward, which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah(swt) be upon him likened to the mountain of Uhud.

Allahhumdililah, the moon was sighted by our brothers who went to Vets Park to observe. This has also been confirmed by reputable sources such as Chicago Hilal Committee and Central Hilal Committee.

Eid al-Fitr will take place tomorrow, Friday, March 20th, InshAllah

Eid al-Fitr Program Times:

Takbeerat Al Eid - 8:30am

Eid Salat - 9:00am

Breakfast will be served following Eid Salat.

Important Announcement: Eid al-Fitr Program Times

As-Salam Alaykum,

Allahhumdililah, Eid al-Fitr is quickly approaching. Inshallah, your fasts and good deeds are accepted by Allah (SWT).

Once the moon sighting has been confirmed, we will promptly send out an announcement across all Al Madany channels announcing the date of Eid al-Fitr.

Eid al-Fitr Program Times:

Takbeerat Al Eid - 8:30am

Eid Salat - 9:00am

Breakfast will be served following Eid Salat.

Goodie bags for the kids will be provided.

Assalamualaikum Everyone,

We would like to recognize Sheikh Battal and thank him for his hard work and dedication during Taraweeh. Alhamdulillah, the 27th night was very successful and we had a great turnout.

Inshallah, we will be sharing the Eid prayer schedule soon.

For those brothers and sisters who committed to contribute during yesterday’s fundraising, if we have not received your name and contact information, please message us privately. Jazak Allah Khair for your support and generosity toward the masjid.

As a reminder, any funds being collected for the masjid must be handled only by Brother Waqar, board members, or board-appointed representatives. Please do not give funds to anyone else.

Any collection of funds for the masjid without board authorization is not permitted and will be addressed accordingly.
