Here are a couple pictures of the Olena Presbyterian Church Bell. For those who don’t know, our Presbyterian Church was torn down May 7, 2016. At the time the first picture was taken, the bell was still inside the tower. We have recently moved the bell into the “Yes! Olena has History.” and “Wood Freak” building, at 545 US HWY 250 in Olena.
The Bell was purchased in 1870 for the price of $450. The Bell reads: Meneelys West Troy N.Y. 1870. “Let Him That Heareth Say, Come.”
The Bell is visible at any time. We are open Sundays between 12:00 noon and 5:00 pm. During the week call us at 419-668-4844, we would be happy to open the shop for you.

Hi! Welcome to Wood Freak. Working with wood is something I enjoy. We hope you will come visit our shop. We know you will like what you see. Ask about having a sign designed for you or a gift for friends and family.
As you look around, you will notice we are also working on the history of Olena. Olena has a strong history as a horse and wagon stop, as farmers take their grain to the Milan Canal.
