Fr. Miguel is inviting anyone who is in the 18-35 yr age range to join him for a half hour of Guided Adoration, followed by lunch on Saturday, October 24, at noon in our beautiful Visitation Chapel, overlooking a pond.

If you've never experienced Eucharistic Adoration before, this is a wonderful opportunity to begin...and if you're already familiar with Adoration, we'd love to have you!

Come spend some quiet time with Jesus and enjoy getting to know other young adults.

The St. Matthew Knights recently announced the Anthony J. Armentano Memorial Scholarship at their Annual Italian Supper. The scholarship will support an eighth-grade student from All Saints Catholic School attending a Catholic high school. Anthony's mom was in attendance.

The evening also included recognition by Grand Knight Mark Ludwig of Brother Jared Gonthier and his family for their generous donation toward the new memorial scholarship, Brothers AJ Cossuto and Ron Koroscil for their outstanding service, along with charitable donations presented to Fr. Frank to benefit the parish and community, and Circle of Care, which helps families of children battling cancer.

The Knights want to thank everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make this special night possible! The scholarship is a meaningful way to honor Anthony’s legacy of serviceand to help a young person take the next step in their Catholic education! Can you feel the joy?! We were so honored to welcome the Bridgettine Sisters from the Convent of St. Birgitta in Darien for Adoration for Vocations!

Founded by St. Bridget of Sweden, their religious community is rooted in prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, hospitality, and a special commitment to Christian unity. Their joyful witness is a beautiful reminder of the love of Christ shining through a life devoted to Him.

Did you know the Sisters also welcome guests to their peaceful retreat house, Vikingsborg, nestled on 10 acres overlooking Long Island Sound in Darien? With gardens, woodland walks, and beautiful views of the water, it offers a welcoming space for people of all faiths to pause, pray, and find spiritual renewal.

We are grateful to the Sisters for sharing their vocation, faith, and joy with our parish community!

Our Hearts & Crafts Ministry has hand-made 1,133 hats, scarves and gloves for children and families who will attend the Knights of Columbus "Coats for Kids" distribution at Family & Children's Agency on November 14.

Since the ministry began April 2025, members have spent many hours knitting and crocheting together. We're grateful to each of them for the time, work and care that went into this generous donation!

Members were presented with framed certificates of appreciation on behalf of the Knights.

Hearts & Crafts will meet again in the Spring, and new members are welcome, including anyone who would like to learn to knit or crochet!

Our Lady of the Visitation Chapel at St. Matthew overlooks a pond, and offers a special place to sit in the quiet of nature. It was a honor to welcome the Norwalk Police Department, including Police Chief James Walsh, Deputy Chief Terry Blake, Sargent Sal Calise, and Officer David Nieves to St. Matthew Church as we celebrated Faith in Blue Weekend. During Mass, Fr. Miguel offered a special blessing for those who serve and protect our community, praying for their safety, strength, and guidance in the important work they do each day. Faith in Blue reminds us of the importance of building relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve, rooted in faith, trust, and mutual respect. We are grateful to Chief Walsh and all the officers for their service to our Norwalk community! May God continue to bless them and their families and keep them safe.
