Donuts...Friends...Making a difference!
Calling all students in Grades 3–12: Join Fr. Miguel and the Youth Group this Sunday, May 31 from 10am–12pm in the Great Room for a fun morning of service, snacks, and teamwork. Start with donuts and juice after the 9:00am Mass, then work together to pack meal bags for local children through Filling in the Blanks.

Did you know? Many children in our community rely on school meals during the week and may not have enough food on weekends. By spending just a couple of hours helping, you can make sure a child has nutritious meals to take home.

Bring a friend, lend a hand, and be part of something bigger than yourself. Every meal bag packed is a reminder that someone cares.

This Sunday, May 31, we're honored to welcome Bishop Frank J. Caggiano to St. Matthew Church as the Celebrant for our 10:30am Mass. All are welcome!

Bishop's visit marks St. Matthew's participation as one of the pilot parishes in The One, a diocesan initiative focused on renewing parish life and strengthening our mission of evangelization. We hope you'll join us and help us welcome Bishop Caggiano!

Tonight come celebrate a remarkable ministry! For 18 years, Val has helped lead our parish in prayer through music week after week, season after season, through ordinary time and holy days, weddings and funerals, and many celebrations. After the 4:00pm Mass tonight please join us as we thank Val for her dedication to St. Matthew Parish and wish her every blessing in retirement. Let’s fill the room for Val the way she has filled our church with music for nearly two decades!

This week we celebrated the second anniversary of St. Matthew Bingo with 110 players in attendance! For the past two years this committee led by Frank Billowitz, Rocco Chiappetta, Sara Calise, and Stefania Bartlett has gathered every Wednesday to welcome players, call numbers, sell cards, serve refreshments, and keep everything running smoothly. The Volunteers' hard work has helped make Bingo a weekly tradition while raising funds that support St. Matthew ministries and outreach efforts. We're grateful to everyone who volunteers, and to all who join us to play on Wednesday nights. Thanks for helping make Bingo such a success and for supporting the mission of St. Matthew Church!

On this Pentecost Sunday, as the Church celebrated the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, nine parishioners received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Matthew Church. "Be sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit. Peace be with you.”

Thank you to Fr. Frank and MaryAnn Roberts, our OCIA Coordinator, for accompanying and guiding our candidates on their journey of faith! May the Holy Spirit continue to strengthen and inspire each of our newly confirmed throughout their lives.

Thank you to Anna Mastrolillo for these beautiful photos!
