Pilgrim's Theme

Tired of weaving dreams too loose for me to wear
Tired of watching clouds repeat their dance on air
Tired of getting tired of doing what's required
Is life a mere routine in the greater scheme of things

Through with taking roads someone else designed
Through with chasing stars that soon forget to shine
Through with going through one more day - what's new
Does my life still mean a thing in the greater scheme of things

WYD'27 shirts that are meant to stand out.

It will be hard to locate our delegates ( when they get lost ) in the midst of hundreds of thousands of pilgrims. Having an app on the phone is one big help, having a shirt that stands out helps a lot, as well.

In the middle of the raging super typhoon and power outage in the island where they were making the shirts, I had to make a special request to finish whatever they can finish. I flew to the island just to get these shirts. The storm came.

The design was digitally printed on the rolls of fabric before they were individually sewed into the sizes we requested. You call this total sublimation shirts.

I conceptualized the design and the digital artist I always work with, his name is Mark Oliver, put it together. Several back and forth to edit until it became how I pictured it in my mind. We were working on this last September, before we left for the Pilgrimage. While our parishioners were on a Pilgrimage, I finalized the design with Mark. They started printing and sewing these just 3 days ago.

I had to go to the island where these are being made and bring them back to Manila last night, flying through the middle of the super typhoon.
