Although Yedidyah CC is a new church with limited resources in many ways, we have had a wonderful time together through the dedication of each and every member to the calling and ministry that God has called them to.
여디디야 CC는 여러가지 면에서 자원이 부족한 새로운 교회이지만, 교인 한 사람 한사람이 모든 하나님께서 부르신 소명과 사역에 대한 헌신을 통해 멋진 시간을 함께하였다.

1970년대에 이민와서 이민자로 살아 온 진솔한 유근희 목사님의 이야기는 많은 공감을 일으켰고, 이민 목회를 하면서 힘든 목회 현장과 삶을 나누어 주신 박영호 목사님의 이야기 또한 많은 감동을 전해 주었다.
The story of Rev. Geun-hee Yu, who immigrated in the 1970s and lived as an immigrant, garnered much sympathy, and the story of Rev. Young-ho Park who shared his difficulties in ministry and life while serving as an immigrant, also gave us much inspiration.

The symposium began with a performance by the actors of Theater TAL that they had been preparing for the past 2 months.
The performances were “Today, how are you?” and “Accompanying: Let’s walk togethering”, created based on the theme of what happens in our immigrant families. It was a precious time for the participants to share their stories and receive encouragement through theater and healing methods.

Theater TAL의 배우들이 지난 2달간 열심히 준비해 온 공연이 심포지움 시간을 열었다.
우리 이민자 가정에서 일어나는 일들을 주제로 하여 만들어진 공연은, “오늘, 당신은 안녕하신가요?” 와 “동행: 같이 가자” 라는 제목의 공연이었다. 공연 후에는 연극과 치유 방법을 통하여, 참석자들이 자신들의 이야기를 나누고 격려 받는 귀한 시간이 되었다.

Yedidyah Christian Church’s 3rd Symposium for Building the Healthy Family was held successfully on July 12th and 13th at Yedidyah Christian Church.
More than 80 people attended this symposium. The panelists, who have worked with Yedidyah CC for the past 3 years, have been ministering to addicts and their families in Northern California, Anchorage, and Southern California for over 20 years. The participants sent messages saying they had a meaningful and significant time. In addition, two families from last year’s attendees shared their testimonies of how their families were transformed and responded to God’s Call.

지난 7월12일과 13일에 걸쳐 제 3회 여디디야 교회 건강한 가정 만들기 심포지움이 성황리에 있었다.
약 80명 이상의 사람들이 참석하였다. 이 세미나를 3년째 함께 하고 있는 페널들은, 북가주와 앵커리지, 남가주 지역에서 중독자들과 그 가족을 위한 사역을 20년 넘게 하고 있는 분들이다. 참석자들은 정말 의미있고 뜻 깊은 시간을 가졌다고 메세지를 전해 왔다. 또한 작년에 참여한 사람들 중에 2 가정이 자신의 가정이 변하고 있고, 하나님의 부르심에 응답하는 고백을 나누어 주었다.

건강한 가정 만들기: 소통과 치유

7월12일(금요일)과 7월13일(토요일)에 놀웍에 있는 여디디야 교회 (Yedidyah Christian Church)에서 제3회 “건강한 가정 만들기: 소통과 치유” 라는 주제로 세미나가 열립니다.

여디디야 교회는 지난 2년 동안 “중독자와 그 가족을 위한 세미나”를 열어, 많은 가족들에게 도움을 나누어 왔습니다. 올 해도 비영리 공연 문화 단체인 Theater TAL과 함께 그 3번째 “건강한 가정 만들기: 소통과 치유”라는 주제로 우리 가정의 현 주소를 점검하며, 도움을 나누는 시간을 준비합니다.

이 세미나는 연극을 통해 우리 모습을 재조명하며 시작되고 30년 가까이 중독과 가정 사역을 해 오신 페널들의 경험과 교육이 나누어지게 됩니다.
많은 분들이 오셔서 이 귀한 시간을 통해 여러분의 가정이 더 건강하게 소통하고 성장하는 시간이 되시길 바라며 초청합니다.

2023 is such an exciting and blessed year for Yedidyah CC!

Since the beginning of the Yedidyah CC, we have been praying with a vision to create a multi-ethnic church where every generation can be together
And this vision that God gave us was finally able to share with the Casa De Fe Church.
We gathered together in the church parking lot for joined Easter Service!

Please pray for this special seminar that Yedidyah Christian Church is hosting on Saturday, May 21, at 10 AM. This seminar is aimed for those suffering from addiction as well as their families. For the past several months, Yedidyah CC has worked hard to prepare for this seminar, inviting 6 ministers and mental health professionals with experiences of over 20 years. A presentation of the play "Mirror" will also be performed in the beginning.

Yedidyah CC is excited to announce that 2021 “No Vacancy, LA?” rehearsals have begun!

Since July, about 20 cast members and staff have been working hard to prepare this special play, which is set to open late November. The original “No Vacancy” play written by Jong Ryul Choi has been performed in Korea for over 30 years. Adapted in 2003 by Young Lan Kim, “No Vacancy, LA” is a bilingual play in English and Korean about finding the true meaning of Christmas within an immigrant church community.

“One in Christ” Young Adult Movement
In collaboration with Loving Jesus Church and Zion Church, Yedidyah Christian Church is hosting regular young adult gatherings. Starting in July, these young adults have been sharing in daily scripture readings, weekly Bible reading and study over Zoom, and gathering in worship and praise every other month. The group has finished reading the books of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, and currently reading the book of John together. With the intention and goal of raising young adult leadership, this movement works to serve the community and lead change to our society.

Join us every Friday morning from 9:30-11:30 am for a time of quiet meditation through scripture with QT ("Quiet Time") and sharing the gift of quilting. QT led by Rev. Young Lan Kim and quilt time led by Laura Cho.

Last week, Sunhee Hong, a professional cellist, shared her gifts for this special time.
