Congratulations to Washington Lutheran for winning the Bread of Life award at the Eastern ND Synod Assembly this year!

Washington was able to raise $25 per baptized member for ELCA World Hunger. These dollars go to combat food insecurity both locally and abroad.

We give thanks to our faithful members for caring for their neighbors in such a big way!

Today was a very special Sunday at NELC! We welcomed Jess Gulseth and the staff of Red Willow Bible Camp.

They shared plans with us about the upcoming season and plans for their 100th anniversary. They also shared a fun camp song with the congregation.

We spent the afternoon talking through what a worship service looks like at camp and did some training for the day camps they’ll be running at local churches throughout the summer.

It was such a joy to host them and we hope if you have a young person in your life, you’ll consider Red Willow for them this summer.

Today we welcomed Lauren Jean Lyste as a baptized member of NELC!

Join us this Sunday May 31st NELC’s 11am worship service!

We’ll be welcoming the staff of Red Willow Bible Camp as they use our space for their summer VBS training.

Bring your kiddos because they always have fun songs and stories to share. We’ll also offer them a blessing on their summer ministry.

Help us kick off the summer as we celebrate 100 years of Red Willow!

Tonight we held our end of school year cookout for the kids and their families!

Since it rained we moved inside but it was still a fun evening full of food and music and games.

It was a great joy to have church school and confirmation with these young people this season and we very much look forward to VBS this summer and some other fun get togethers.

Thank you to all the adults in our congregations who care for these kids and show up for them. We can’t do any of this without you!

Today the community of Northwood held a benefit for Christopher Engen.

Chris is a 5th grader battling ALL Leukemia. He and his family are members of NELC and we have been holding them in prayer as Chris goes through treatment and all the things that will bring.

Thank you to all the members of NELC and Washington for assisting with this event today and for showing up when one of our families is in need. Chris is tough and he’s got this, we will be with him and his family every step of the way.
