Cowboy Church is a Christian family-friendly Celebration held at a riding arena featuring skilled horsemanship, Christian music, and a Biblical message. It aims to welcome those with no church background, and/or former church-goers who have stopped attending, especially those who are fascinated by horses. Cowboy Church offers an appeal to families wanting to ‘share an event together’, not normally

found in conventional church settings. Today in the U.S. there are between 400 and several thousand Cowboy Churches, depending on how broadly the term is defined. It has also been noted that Cowboy Church seems to be uniquely appealing to men as well as women.
