-Vision-
“Grace Life exists to ignite a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this generation.”
-Identity-
At Grace Life, who we are inspires everything we do. Our purpose as a ministry flows out of our identity in Christ. We see ourselves in three primary identities: Family, Servants, Missionaries. Family: Grace Life strives to be a community of believers who live and experience life togeth
er like a family.We see God as our Father through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ and the new regeneration brought about by the Holy Spirit. God's love leads us to love one another as brothers and sisters. We aim to treat one another as children of God deeply loved by the Father in everything sharing our time, resources, needs, hurts, failures, as well as rejoicing in our victories and successes. We speak the gospel truth to one another, regularly building each other up in love. We also love the people around us as if they were part of the family, showing them what the love of the Father looks like and in so doing inviting them to experience life in the family of God. Missionaries: We believe that all believers are called by God to be missionaries in their own local communities. Wherever God has placed you in school, work, or family is your mission field. God’s family is sent by the Spirit to proclaim the good news of the kingdom – the Gospel – and
fulfill the commission of Jesus. We strive to be Spirit-led and filled people who radically reorient our lives together for the mission of making disciples. This means our schedules, resources and decisions are now collectively
built around reaching people together. We serve those around us as though there we are serving Jesus. In doing so, we give a foretaste of what life will be like under the rule and reign of Jesus Christ. Living as servants to the King who serve others as he served us, presents a
tangible witness to Jesus’ kingdom andthe power of thegospel to change lives. We serve in such a way that it demands a Gospel explanation – lives that cannot be explained in any other way than by the Gospel of the Kingdom of Jesus.
-Cultural Values-
Four primary cultural emphases shape the atmosphere of Grace Life.
-Culture of Love-We take the command to love one another seriously
(John 13:35) and it shapes everything we do.
-Culture of Passion-We abhor ever being a lukewarm ministry
(Rev 3:23); therefore we passionately pursue Christ.
-Culture of Excellence-We do all things for the glory of God (Col 3:23);
therefore we offer Him our very best in everything.
-Culture of Learning-God generously gives wisdom to those who ask
(James 1:5); therefore we aggressively pursue the knowledge of God and
his ways.
