10:30 a.m.

Potluck dinners after church during summer hours only. Please join us for fun and fellowship!!!! Please bring your favorite dish to share.

to: MSSAC Members
Our annual Membership meeting will be Saturday, June 6, 2026. Registration will start at 9:30 am
and the meeting will start at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held at the Augusta Spiritualist Church.
The following terms are expiring this year:
3 year term Director position currently held by Glenn Simpson
1 year term Director position currently held by Don Bright
1 year term Director position, currently vacant
2 year term Director position, currently held by Judith Swift
3 year term Head Trustee position, currently held by Sue Jalbert
1 year term Trustee position, currently held by Barbara Eckhardt
Eligibility requirements for Director/Trustee are as follows: Officers shall be domiciled in the
State of Maine, those elected or appointed to the MSSAC Board must have been a member in good
standing in a MSSAC auxiliary for a period of one year, must be of bondable age. The Head Trustee must
be an NSAC member of an MSSAC auxiliary church or camp and is preferred to be a current member of
the MSSAC Board with financial acumen. This position is to be bondable.
Would you please let me know if you want to run again? I hope you will consider running
again. Perhaps you know someone from your auxiliary who is interested in serving Spirit. If so,
please encourage them to attend the meeting and run for a position on the MSSAC Board.

NOTICE
Maine State Spiritualist Association of Churches

2026 Annual Convention

Friday, June 5, Saturday, June 6, Sunday June 7

Augusta Spiritualist Church
113 Townsend Road
Augusta, Maine

Friday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm there will be a Victorian Seance.
As people arrive they will be given a ticket to determine who will be seated first.

There will be three seatings, each lasting about 20 minutes.

Participants will be getting the Seance experience, not everyone is guaranteed a

reading.

MSSAC will provide light Victorian treats, water, coffee and tea. There will be a
raffle for those that dress up in Victorian garb. The winner will receive a future 15

minute reading.

There is no charge for the Seance. Donation baskets will be available.
The Seance is for members, attendees and friends of MSSAC Churches and Camps

Business Meeting, Sunday Service & Ordination

Registration for the business meeting will start at 9:30 am Saturday and the meeting will
start at 10:00 am. The Sunday church service, including a flower service to honor spirit
love ones who passed in the last year, will start at 10:30 am.
Scott Mills, Pastor of the Augusta Spiritualist Church, will be ordained Sunday. A
short break will be taken after the flower service and prior to the Ordination Service.
Congratulations to Scott and his wife, Cheryl. This is an opportunity to honor Scott, his
hard work and accomplishments. MSSAC and the Augusta Spiritualist Church are blessed
to have Scott as a worker for Spiritualism.
Please let your church/camp know that you wish to attend the Seance by May 26.

This will help us plan for the Seance.
