OPEN WOUNDS
Do you need more of God's presence in your life? Do you have some private battles that nobody knows about? Are you exhausted or discouraged? Every man can identify with the pressures, battles, and temptations of life. You're not alone. We have more in common than you think. Life is short… So, take time to invest in your soul. It's worth it.
You are invited to the 2027 ThornCreek Men's Retreat. The dates are February 4-6 (Thu-Sat). It starts on Thursday at 12:00 PM, and it will end on Saturday by 10:00 AM. It will take place at:

What should you expect? There will be three (3) worship services, and free time for whatever you want to do. There will be opportunities for great conversation around food, games, or a fire. Our hope is that you have a genuine, life-changing encounter with God. That's it. We want you to chill out and cry out to God!
The theme of this year's retreat is "Open Wounds." Have you ever had an open wound? You think it's healed up, you think it's better…then you bump yourself into something. You discover it's not healed up as much as you thought it was. Life can feel like that. You think you're over something. You think you're over that hurt. You think you're over that anger. You think you're past that temptation. But, under the right circumstances, that old wound can reopen, and you're reminded it's not completely healed.
Meet Pastor Ritchie
This year, our guest speaker is Pastor Ritchie Asuega. Pastor Ritchie is the Senior Pastor of Kingdom Rock Church of the Nazarene in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is also a licensed school counselor who works with at risk youth. He was born in San Francisco and grew up in Compton and Long Beach, California. (Yes, he's straight out of Compton, and he's a fan of the 49ers, Lakers, and Dodgers. But don't hold that against him!) He knows what it's like to grow up in a tough neighborhood. He knows what it's like to be raised in a complicated home, full of addictions, anger, and love. He knows what it's like to have a father who wasn't always the best example. He knows what it's like to be a man with open wounds. Whether you are far from God or close to God, there will be something for you.
THE COST
The cost is $175 per adult, and $100 per son, ages 12-17. This includes two (2) nights and five (5) meals. If you have the funds, you can pay now. But if you don't have the funds, you can still sign up right now to reserve a spot. Sign up by faith! Just sign up. Your soul is worth it.
Every young man aged 12-17 needs a parent or a designated father figure who they will adhere to. Each young man is expected to participate with all the other men. (This is not a youth retreat.)
