rue wisdom doesn’t begin with having all the answers. It begins with knowing who God is and being willing to learn from Him.

When we approach God with reverence, humility, and a teachable heart, He shapes the way we think, choose, and live.

What is God teaching you in this season of your life? 🙏

Have you ever wondered...

“God, am I doing enough?”

Did I pray enough?
Read my Bible enough?
Go to church enough?
Give enough?
Do enough good things?

Religion loves a scorecard.

But then Jesus says something shocking:

“Unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” — Matthew 5:20

Jesus isn't telling us to try harder than the Pharisees.

He's showing us that we need an entirely different kind of righteousness—one that begins with a heart surrendered to the King.

Join us this morning at Northglenn Christian Church as we continue through the Sermon on the Mount and discover the freedom of no longer asking:

“Am I good enough?”

And instead asking:

“Do I trust the King?”

When life feels uncertain, we need something—or Someone—steady enough to hold us.

God is our rock when everything feels shaky, our refuge when life feels overwhelming, and our deliverer when we can’t see a way through.

Whatever you’re facing today, you don’t have to face it in your own strength.

Which word describes what you need from God today: Rock, Refuge, Strength, or Deliverer? 👇

Jesus didn't say:

“Try to become salt.”

He said:

“You ARE the salt of the earth.”

He didn't say:

“Someday you might become light.”

He said:

“You ARE the light of the world.”

That means wherever you go, you carry influence.

The question is what kind.

Does your presence bring hope?

Does your life point people toward Jesus?

Does the way you treat others reflect the character of your King?

Does your faith leave the church building with you?

Tomorrow we'll gather again as the church.

But today, remember:

The church was never meant to hide from the world. We were sent to influence it.

Be salt.

Be light.

And let everything you do point beyond yourself to the Father.

“Let your light shine before people… and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

Good works aren’t about getting the credit—they’re about pointing people to God. ❤️

Jesus calls us to live in a way that others can see His goodness through us. Sometimes the simplest acts of kindness, generosity, and service can shine the brightest.

Take a minute and listen to this clip from Sunday’s message.

What good can you do this week that points someone toward Jesus? 💡

A candle cannot give light without giving something of itself.

Neither can we.

Following Jesus means there will be times when serving others costs us something.

Our time.

Our energy.

Our resources.

Our comfort.

Our convenience.

Paul said, “I will gladly spend myself and all I have for your spiritual good.” — 2 Corinthians 12:15

Kingdom influence isn't built around the question:

“What's easiest for me?”

It asks:

“How can God use me?”

Look around today.

Who could use your encouragement?

Who needs practical help?

Who needs someone to listen?

Who needs to experience the love of Jesus through you?

Let your light burn brightly enough to serve somebody else.

How often do we spend today worrying about tomorrow?

Jesus invites us to trust Him with what we can’t control and be present in what He has given us today. Tomorrow is already in His hands.

Take a breath. Say a prayer. Take the next step—and trust God with the rest. 🙏

What’s one worry you can choose to place in God’s hands today?

Sometimes we think sharing Jesus begins with knowing exactly what to say.

But our lives often speak first.

Jesus said:

“Let your light shine before people in such a way that they see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

People may forget a sermon.

They may forget something we told them.

But they often remember how a follower of Jesus treated them.

How we respond under pressure.

How we forgive.

How we serve.

How we treat people who can do nothing for us.

How we love when loving isn't convenient.

Don't just tell someone what Jesus is like.

Let them see something of Jesus in you.

Feeling tired doesn’t mean you’ve lost your faith. Sometimes it simply means you need to stop relying on your own strength and lean into His.

God meets us in the waiting. He renews us when we’re weary and gives us strength for the next step.

Where do you need God to renew your strength today? 🙏
