Today we celebrate and congratulate Fr. Justus on the Silver Jubliee of his Priestly Ordination. Thank you for your "yes" to God's calling of your vocation and for the many blessings you bring to our parish. May God continue to bless you in this ministry as you strive to help us know and love Him fully.

Holy Week begins tomorrow. A week for prayer-filled reverence and profound wonder at the love of God shown in Christ Jesus. We walk not in great strides but in small steps, passing through each moment with conviction that we will reach the resurrection and that we will be forever transformed by the journey.

We walk with Christ and one another through bitter agony to triumphant joy. We hope you will join us.

Coming up this Friday, we will have our final Stations of the Cross for this season of Lent at 6:15 p.m, followed by a Soup Supper. We invite you to stay and gather in community after Stations for a meal provided by the Knights of Columbus.

We celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, when the Blessed Virgin Mary learns of her conception of Jesus though the Holy Spirit on Wednesday, March 25.

This weekend, March 21-22, following each of the Masses, we will have a blessing for expecting mothers as a beautiful expression of faith and to honor, support, and celebrate the woman's journey into the motherhood of this precious child.

All expectant mothers are invited to join Fr. Louie by the statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the back of the church following each of the weekend Masses for this special blessing.
