🎆 Am Yisrael Chai — and so is America! 🇺🇸

What a Shabbat! We celebrated the 250th anniversary of American independence with a red-white-and-blue Fourth of July Shabbat service, generously sponsored by one of our wonderful congregants. Then we kept the celebration going with an all-American hot dog lunch! 🌭

And of course… we couldn’t resist a little musical fun: can you name that tune to Adon Olam?! 🎶😉

Celebrating a Joyous Shabbat at Am Yisrael!

Last Shabbat, we celebrated Howard Prager’s 70th birthday at Am Yisrael!

Thank you to Laurie and Howard for sponsoring a festive Kiddush lunch afterwards.

Last week, nearly eighty of us came together for an afternoon that was as moving as it was meaningful.

Leopoldstadt is not an easy play. It asks us to sit with the weight of history, to witness the destruction of a family and a world, and to carry that memory forward.

That nearly eighty members of our community chose to do that together says everything about who we are.
