Nuer Community Lutheran Church is the newest worshipping community in the Southeastern MN Synod and began in the winter of 2025. Their pastor is Rev. Yang Tut. On Sunday, May 17, the council was installed during a joyous worship service followed by a meal. Synod staff members, Kathy Chatelaine and Rev. Emily Carson, participated in the day.

On May 17, Assistant to the Bishop Kathy Chatelaine joined the people of Epiphany Lutheran Church - Eagle Lake, MN gathering for worship in celebration of the congregation’s 40th anniversary and a ceremonial burning of the mortgage!
