Join Ascension Book Club next week!
Spring is here, which is the perfect time to read a novel about good friends. On May 12, ABC Book Club readers will give their insights into the humorous novel My Friends by Fredrik Backman, meeting at 10:30 am at church.
In this book, four teenagers form a deep friendship that gives them refuge from their troubled home lives and inspires one of them to create a mysterious painting. Twenty-five years later, Louisa, a young artist, inherits the famous painting and embarks on a journey to find out about the story behind it. She uncovers how their lives were intertwined and discovers how art and connection can change lives.
