Yesterday the Svd retirees spent a beautiful day on the Odyssey having lunch and enjoying the magnificent scenery along the Chicago river. It was also Bridgette and John’s 31st wedding anniversary. So it was a very special time. I do believe Chicago is the most beautiful city in the country.

Once a week we have a coffee clutch for the infirmary (plus a few others) and indulge in fresh baked goods. We call it “Tasty Tuesday” and we always have a big showing.
Last week we had Parlor Donuts. It’s a specialty in Chicago. We are lucky we live in a city that has such delicious food!
